MV Families Picnic

One more big hang out in a park before the weather turns, that's the idea anyway! If you and the kids you care for would enjoy hanging out in the excellent Heaton Park, spending time with friends old and new, and soaking up some rays (that last part not guaranteed), then make sure you join us on 24th Sept! 

We'll be congregating at the main play area (Lakeside Adventure Playground), where we'll gather around a gazebo or two on the grass, putting the play park, the lake, plenty of grassy space, toilets, and the all important ice cream van all within easy reach. Invite as many people as you want, there's no way we'll run out of space in Heaton Park!

Parking:
We'd recommend parking in the Sheepfoot Lane Carpark (off sheep foot lane), or if that's full, on Sheepfoot Lane itself. The car park does have a ticket machine, but parking on Sheepfoot Lane is free.

What to bring:
Something to sit on, and crucially, plenty to eat! No one wants to leave a picnic hungry...

If it's indifferent weather we'll plough on, as we can always pop a few extra gazebos up, but if it's awful, we may call it off. We'll be in touch if so, so assume we're cracking on unless you hear otherwise. Fun favours the brave after all.
